Swansea Town membership captain Angel Rangel has had surgical treatment on a groin damage.
The 35-year-old has been sidelined since Swansea’s 2-Zero house defeat by means of Tottenham Hotspur on 2 January.
It’s was hoping Rangel will characteristic for the Swans against the top of the season with the defender anticipated to go back in round six weeks.
Midfielder Leroy Fer and striker Wilfried Bony had been dominated out for the remainder of the season with Achilles and knee accidents respectively.
Striker Bony is predicted to have an operation this week to fix a torn anterior cruciate ligament whilst Fer had surgical treatment final week.
Swansea meet Sheffield Wednesday at Hillsborough on Saturday, 17 February within the 5th spherical of the FA Cup.
